GONDBA Meeting Minutes November 26, 2008 Networking and lunch started at 11:30 AM. Thank you to Merle Keppel of Associates Staffing for providing a wonderful lunch. Our meeting started at 12:00 noon. Ann O’Donnell, Senior Business Analyst for County Corp. spoke about her company. County Corp. has business loan products that help grow your business and foster job creation. Afterwards, we did our introduction; this time giving a brief description of our companies and what they do. We heard from Sergeant McCune. He warned us that commercial robberies were increasing in the area. Report any unusual people hanging around. The patrols will be stepping up enforcement in the school zones. Be warned! Sam Dowse of Sebaly Shillito & Dyer finished the work on the 501c3. We need to thank them for their help. It was suggested maybe a plaque for services rendered and also put up a “Thank You” on the web site. Barry brought up the question of how do we promote our businesses to our employees. Please submit any ideas to Barry via e-mail.. Barry also brought our attention to some of the “Unlucky 13” that will be released from jail/prison in the near future. We will pursue a group to “Welcome Home” these individuals to let them know what is expected of them and let them know we will be watching them.
