GONDBA Meeting Minutes April 22, 2009 Lunch and networking began at 11:30 AM. Thanks to Furst Florist for providing lunch. Barry Hall, President, called the meeting to order at 12:00 PM. He informed us of a new Tactical Gun Class that will be offered and also again to be offered the “Refuse to be a Victim” class. More information will be coming in the near future. We watched a video that Barry Hall and Officer Olmstead participated in, “Taking it to the Street”. Barry also gave us an update on recent criminal events in the area. Our guest speaker was City of Dayton Police Chief Richard Biehl. His presentation, “Energizing the Community: A New Call to Action”, drove home the fact that police work is a combined effort between the police, residents, and businesses. Popcenter.org – a site were we can get crime prevention techniques. Meeting ended at 1:00 PM. Next month (May 27, 2009) guest speaker is Dayton Municipal Court Judge Hon John Pickrel.
