GONDBA Meeting Minutes

February 24, 2010

Networking began @ 11:30 with lunch provided by GONDBA

Barry Hall, President, called the meeting to order and introductions were made by the members present.

Here are some updates:

Gary Peck gave a brief summary of the Behr Blume Site meeting in which he attended.  Reuse Assessment for the Behr Dayton VOC Plume Site handouts were made available.

EPA project updated.

Stuart Patterson Recreation Center will be closing per City of Dayton.  New center will be located on West Third St. where Roosevelt High School was located. Grand opening to be announced.

Kroc center to officially open

Guest Speaker:

Rene Oberer:    Republican Party Primary Candidate for U.S. Representative Ohio’s 3rd District (Formerly of Oberer’s Flowers) “a tea party patriot”

Rene began by giving some background information about herself as a small business owner and her mission to make changes.  She believes strongly in our “Founding Fathers” fundamentals and getting the government back to the old government ways.  She believes in” fiscal responsibility” and that small businesses cannot succeed or maintain with the direction the government is heading. She is a strong believer in the “Fair Tax” and that the government should be revenue neutral.  For more information on this candidate and the  May 4th republican primary  please visit www.obererforcongress.com .

Next meeting March 24th  will have a change in venue! Meeting will be held at the Dayton Challenger Learning Center 1401 Leo St. Dayton, OH!  Lunch and  networking 11:30, meeting and tour 12:00- 1:00.
