Meeting Minutes

February 27, 2008

The meeting was called to order and introductions were made.

Letters to the Dayton Municipal Judges – Have not heard any response yet.

Community Awareness Program – Barry gave us a printed synopsis of our 13 top area criminals.

DaVinci Collaborative – Becky Gaytko gave a summary on the program. There is a Commission Approval Meeting in March for the Home Buyers Incentive Program. Becky and Beth will be calling area business owners to see if they will be interested in collaborating with the City to offer incentives of their own.

Also, she will be sharing information on programming activities at Stuart Patterson Park.

GONDBA.ORG – Still working on web site. It should be up soon.

DATV Telethon Information – Having a telethon on March 6, 2008, noon until midnight. Due to a new State Law, they need more funding. Looking for sponsors. See Dan Suffoletto or e-mail him at dan@datv.org.

Guest Speaker – Honorable Judge Anthony Capizzi, Montgomery County Juvenile Court. He gave us a very insightful view of how the Juvenile Court System works.

Lunch was provided by Steve Adler from Groundskeepers.

Meeting was adjourned.

Next Meeting March 2008. This will be an evening meeting. Details to follow at a later date.
